Audition Requirements:
- To be a featured soloist in the concert series, an audition is required. However, an audition is not required to sing with the choir
- By July 15, complete the audition form, submitting the following:
- The title of your song. Any genre: broadway, pop, r&b, soul, blues, jazz, etc.
- An audition recording (a live performance with an audience is best if possible).
- PDF of sheet music, if possible.
- Your availability the first week of August.
- Check your email. By July 20, we will announce all soloists selected.
- Students will be selected upon submission. If this information is still live here on the website, solo spots are still available.
- Preference will be given to students available to sing each day of the series.
- Practice with accompanist on August 3 (Monday), 12pm-7pm. During this time, soloists will each have a small window to practice with our accompanist. Come well-rehearsed, ready to perform your piece in full. This session is for developing artistry and collaborative live performance, not working on notes/rhythms.
- All selected soloists must also register below as a choir member.
