INSPIRO seeks not to compete with but to honor and embolden choral engagement in schools throughout the Triad. As such, INSPIRO requires all members to maintain their usual commitments to school choir (inability to take chorus at school does not exclude students from INSPIRO membership). Additionally, INSPIRO is excited to offer support for school rehearsals and concerts, including FREE accompaniment, FREE adjudication prep, FREE masterclasses, and substitute teaching availability. In addition to encouraging students to register for regular INSPIRO membership, directors may want to recommend students for the INSPIRO student ambassador team. Students on this team must demonstrate strong singing ability, exceptional work ethic, and excellent ability to work on a team. High schools and middle schools can recommend two students each — ideally one soprano/alto and one tenor/bass. Student ambassadors receive a 20% tuition merit scholarship, leadership opportunities a-plenty, and automatic acceptance to INSPIRO’s inaugural season.
